Titan has a diverse team of office and field construction professionals that have the combined experience, skills and knowledge to make any project a success. We leverage each individual’s experience and skills to create a project team based on the client’s needs and the project’s complexity. Our team members have exceptional communication skills. They know that keeping open lines of communication and everyone informed at all times is essential to any project. Working alongside the client and architect, we create a collaborative environment and value everyone’s input. From our executive and office staff to our design, management, and construction teams, everyone works together to maintain the high standard that Titan Building Company is known for.

Additionally, we feel very strongly about principal involvement on each and every project. Our philosophy is that through the involvement of either Joe Widmann or Dave Petrie, our clients know that their project is a top priority for Titan. We are careful to manage our workload properly so that every project receives personal attention from the top down.

Joe Widmann President  

Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a construction emphasis from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Joe began his construction career over 30 years ago and has worked on a wide variety of construction projects throughout Wisconsin prior to joining Titan Building Company in 2005. His experience includes work in the industrial, medical, dental, retail, K-12, higher education, religious, and corporate markets. Some of Joe’s past clients include Abbott Laboratories, Forward Dental, Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek, CommunityMemorial Hospital, Milwaukee Area Technical College, Waukesha County Technical College, Jewel/Osco, and Pick-n-Save stores.

Joe’s dedication to customer satisfaction and his keen awareness of each client’s individual needs are part of the strong foundation of the everyday business practices of Titan Building Company. And Joe’s professional accomplishments include receiving the Associated General Contractors “Harvey Peterson Award for Safety”.

When not at work, Joe enjoys fishing, golfing, and attending local sporting events with his two daughters.

David Petrie Vice President  

Dave began his career in the construction industry more than 24 years ago. Dave began his career working for a local general contractor as a union carpenter apprentice. Dave’s desire to learn and self-motivation allowed him to advance quickly throughout his career, working as a Foreman and then as a Superintendent. As a Superintendent, Dave managed many major Southeastern Wisconsin building projects in the commercial office, industrial, and higher education markets.

Throughout Dave’s career, some of his most notable projects in downtown Milwaukee include first class tenant build-outs in the US Bank, Plaza East, 100 East Wisconsin, 411, & 1000 N. Water buildings. Dave’s client list also includes State Fair Park Dorms, Alverno College Technology & Learning Center, Harley Davidson Museum, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Northwestern Mutual Life, and Potawatomi Bingo & Casino.

Dave enjoys fishing and golfing in his spare time and also finds great relaxation in going to Brewer games with his family. Dave and his family live in Wind Lake Wisconsin.
